His story in his own words:
Hey y'all! I was born in Meridian, MS on October the First, AD 1997. I was raised Southern Baptist, and grew up rather anti-Catholic. However, through the experience of a broken home life, the Lord maintained a strong hold on me. He was, and is, my, "Rock of Ages, cleft for me." Many teens turn to alcohol or drugs during hard times, but by the Grace of God my escape from my broken home was not found in these things but rather in prayer and apologetics (the theology of defending the Faith). I did not know it at the time, but this laid the groundwork for my later conversion to the Catholic Church.
When I was in college, I became disenchanted with denomination of my childhood and began to seek something deeper, something truer. At the same time, I felt this strange attraction to capital "T" Tradition (which, growing up in the Baptist faith, was considered a "bad word")! Eventually this led me, through a long hike first around, and then up, to the pinnacle of Mt. Zion: that is, the Catholic Church.
I was Confirmed on the Vigil of Pentecost 2021. My whole life I have been called to full time ministry, and it was in February of 2022 that I began to discern, and respond to, God's calling of me to the Priesthood. And, well, here I am! Living a blest life in seminary learning how best to Love God and Love people! I would covet your prayers, and in truth I need them.
I enjoy hikes in nature, thinking too deeply about everything from hot dogs to Transubstantiation, and generally other "nerdy" things like reading and writing and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
I would enjoy hearing from you, and may God bless you richly!
